We car camped in a chilly PNW forest, woke up around 5 a.m., and drove to this well-photographed location which was only about 20 minutes away. The conditions were not at all ideal (because of the fog and choppy water), but after setting up some long exposures and brewing some fresh coffee, we made it work.
