Apple / iPhone 18 Pro Max

I had an exclusive early look at the iPhone 18 Pro Max and the opportunity to test its camera in Alaska. Created for both my social channels and Apple’s marketing, the photography brought a new tool into the kind of landscape work I love: exploring a place through its light, scale and changing conditions.

From mountain ridgelines and autumn color to glacial ice, the series follows that experience in the field—a photographic exploration of Alaska and a hands-on look at what I could create with the phone.

Every photograph in the main series was captured on iPhone 18 Pro Max in 48MP RAW. The behind-the-scenes photographs below document the process and are separate from the iPhone-shot series.
